Asmin Bara Bronang (ABB) a subsidiary of Pamapersada Nusantara is the 3rd generation Coal Contract of Work holder in Central Kalimantan – Indonesia. ABB has plans to develop in pit dump (IPD) over the mined out pit. In order to support the plans, TMU is contracted by ABB to provide geotechnical analysis for in pit dump design with the scopes:
- Conduct site visit to obtain clearly overview the conditions of the project site;
- Conduct desk study, includes (1) Review site condition, (2) Review primary and secondary data provided by ABB, (3) Provides design basis and parameters based on the data available, (4) Review regional geology and seismic, (5) Review available geotechnical data and laboratory test results provided by ABB, (6) Creates geotechnical models for analysis based on geotechnical data available;
- Conduct slope stability design analysis of the IPD design; and
- Provides recommendations of the IPD slopes design and counterweight design to stabilize the IDP slope.
