Quantus Consultants Indonesia (QCI) has been appointed by Sumbawa Juta Raya (SJR) to provide scoping study for tailing storage facility located in SJR gold mine project at Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara. In order to support the project, TMU is requested by QCI to conduct the study with the scopes:
- Conduct site to obtain clearly overview the conditions of the project site and performs discussion with the SJR representative on site;
- Conduct desk study, includes (1) Review site condition and river system on the site, (2) Review primary and secondary data provided by SJR, (3) Provides design basis based on available standard policies in Indonesia and Australian standard related to dam project, (4) Provides design parameters based on related secondary data available, (5) Review regional geology and seismic, (6) Review available geotechnical data and laboratory test results provided by SJR, (7) Creates geotechnical models for analysis based on geotechnical data available;
- Conduct slope stability design analysis of the dam;
- Conduct hydrological analysis, includes rainfall analysis, peak discharge, and water quality;
- Provides TSF water balance modeling;
- Provides concept of TSF closure;
- Provide preliminary technical specification;
- Provide risk mitigation;
- Provide related regulations for tailing dam development; and
- Provides recommendations that shall be done before continuing to detail engineering design stage.
