This study is an advanced stage following the results of fieldwork investigation are available. The study shall be conducted by experienced geotechnical engineers under supervision by senior geotechnical engineer and reviewed by geotechnical expert or principal. TMU’s engineering teams have been trained and certified as well as have extensive experience in relevant geotechnical studies.
The study will covers feasibility study level to detail engineering design which comprises as follow:
- Evaluate geological and geotechnical data such as physical and mechanical properties of soils and rocks to identify potential issues that will arise during mining.
- Provides analysis and recommendations for designing earthwork such as excavatability/digability, ripability, and blasting (if necessary).
- Provides analysis and recommendations for designing pit slope stability and embankment slope stability such as wastedump, tailing dam, etc., and (if necessary) slope erosion protection.
- Provides deformation analysis to identify potential of earth movements failure.
- Provides geotechnical risks management by implementing of geotechnical monitoring instrumentations.
- All those study above are needed to analyze geotechnical aspects for supporting JORC / KCMI statement reports.
