Some of the concrete structures on the toll road alignment (Manado – Bitung) have been cracked after the earthquake. PT General Adjuster Indonesia (GAI) as an insurance company has appointed TMU for conducting relevant assessment to verify the causes of concrete rift at some concrete structures on the Manado – Bitung toll road alignment. The scope of the assessment involves:
- Conduct site visit and performs in situ testing and screening the existing concrete structures.
- Review secondary date provided by GAI includes geotechnical investigation report, foundation design report, structure analysis report, earthquake study, etc.
- Perform back analysis to determine the causes of the rift occurs on the road pavement, culvert box and traffic box.
- Provides recommendations or repair the rifts including the cost estimation.
